Job description
As a Systems Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Support the development of Modeling and Simulation requirements for a system-of-systems architecture.
- Translating system needs and activities into engineering artifacts (DODAF, SysML, MBSE)
- Review technical documentation, strategies, plans, and event architectures to generate system needs
- Brief and interact with senior-level officers (i.e., GO/FLAG) and senior civilians
- Coordinate review, adjudication, and staffing of technical and programmatic documents.
Requirements
Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise and Modeling and Simulation (M&S) background to provide engineering support to United States Space Force (USSF) STARCOM. The position requires an individual possessing a wide range of skills and demonstrated experience in requirements and architecture development. In this role, you will be developing system architecture models, developing system requirements, evaluating system needs and use cases, defining system activities, and producing digital and systems engineering artifacts., * U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related STEM field
- 5+ years system engineering, systems architecture, or system-of-systems testing experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MBSE tools. Magicdraw, Cameo, Rhapsody
