Job description
The Java Backend Lead Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java technologies. This role combines hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality software delivery and guiding a team of developers., * Designs and develop enterprise-grade, high-volume backend systems using Java/JEE and related technologies.
- Oversee the full development lifecycle?requirement gathering, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Provides technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to a team of developers.
- Architects and integrates RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend interfaces with databases, caching, and messaging systems.
- Ensures code quality and reliability through best practices like Test?Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps integration.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Core Java (OOP, collections, multithreading)
- Spring Framework: Spring Batch, Spring Boot, MVC, Security, Data/JPA
- ORM frameworks: Hibernate, JPA
- RESTful APIs design & documentation
- Microservices architecture & distributed systems
- Databases: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle), NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Messaging systems: Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ
- DevOps & CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible
- Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure
- Testing: JUnit, Mockito, TDD principles
- Leadership & mentoring capabilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
