Job description

Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering wanted by American Express Global Business Travel, Egencia LLC in Chicago, IL. Lead engineering team to build, operate, streamline, and maintain Trips Experience to meet customers' evolving needs. Focus on capacity planning, project planning, and management. Partner with product and design counterparts to understand requirements and priorities, solution business problems, craft roadmaps, and manage development from conceptualization through delivery and ownership. Create and maintain accurate project schedules, and drive tasks to completion. Ensure your team meets their delivery commitments through an effective sprint planning process and daily stand-ups. Facilitate team-owned process improvements. Ensure team uses best practices with respect to test automation and manual regression and exploratory testing. Hire, mentor, coach, and retain a collaborative, best-of-class engineering team. Ensure team members have appropriate skills and behaviors and effectively communicate performance results. Foster career growth and a strong team culture of inclusivity, product ownership and quality, technical and operational excellence. Lead by example. Perform Quality Inspections and Walkthroughs, Architecture Review, Design Review, Code Review, and Security Review to ensure compliance with standards. Manage prioritization and remediation of any defects identified in team's product, prioritizing based on number of customers impacted, impact to revenue, and impact to over-all use experience. Demonstrate leadership in mentoring, establishing standards in documentation and clean code, and setting a professional example to the team.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus five (5) years of relevant experience. Must have: five (5) years of experience with Catchpoint three (3) years of experience with Serenity Testing Framework three (3) years of experience with BrowserStack Administration three (3) years of experience with Glassbox; two (2) years of experience with Figma.
