Job description

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Epicor, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing software products that deliver real business impact. You will apply strong computer science fundamentals, system design expertise, and deep JavaScript/TypeScript experience to create scalable, secure solutions. Working closely with crossfunctional teams, you will help translate business needs into technical solutions, improve existing products, and mentor other developers while championing best practices across the codebase. What you will be doing

  • Understand business needs and architect, design, and develop new features aligned with technical standards and product goals
  • Collaborate with product, quality assurance, and engineering teams to deliver highquality, reliable software solutions
  • Build and enhance backend services with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security
  • Evaluate and integrate tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve developer productivity and system quality
  • Mentor and support other developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
  • Promote coding standards and best practices to ensure maintainable, reusable, and welldocumented code
  • Solve complex technical challenges while contributing to scalable, secure system designs

Requirements

  • 4+ years of fullstack development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages
  • Strong backend development experience with Node.js and REST APIs (for example, Express or Fastify)
  • Experience with TypeScriptheavy development and modern JavaScript practices
  • Frontend experience with React.js (preferred) or similar frameworks such as Angular or Vue
  • Solid understanding of SQL, including query writing, migrations, and performance optimization
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and eventbased or jobprocessing systems
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerized development workflows
  • Proven ability to work through ambiguous requirements and deliver effective, endtoend solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a problemsolving mindset

What could set you apart

  • Experience with state management tools such as Redux and validation tools such as Zod
  • Knowledge of data communication tools including sockets
  • Understanding of permissioning models and security analysis
  • Styling and design experience using frameworks such as SASS or Tailwind
  • Handson experience with cloud development and message queues, including AWS Lambda, Amazon SQS, and RabbitMQ
  • Exposure to Snowflake and system optimization techniques
  • Experience working with AIaware development environments or AIsupported architectures
