Shape what's next for mission-critical government projects while shaping what's next for your engineering career., As a Junior Power Platform Developer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USCENTCOM. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying Canvas and Model-Driven apps that empower users across USCENTCOM to access critical information and workflows. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders to understand operational needs, create custom applications, and ensure efficient integration with other systems. Join a team dedicated to building a data-centric, app-driven operational environment through modern app development practices., * Develop and Deploy Canvas and Model-Driven Apps: Design and build customized applications using Power Apps, tailoring solutions that align with USCENTCOM's operational requirements and data accessibility needs.
- Collaborate with Data and IT Teams: Work alongside data analysts, data engineers, and IT specialists to align app functionalities with data strategies, ensuring applications are seamlessly integrated with USCENTCOM's data platforms.
- Automate Workflows and Enhance Processes: Utilize Power Automate to streamline processes, automating repetitive tasks, and enhancing the efficiency of data-driven workflows across various departments.
- Support Data Visualization and Insights: Develop embedded Power BI dashboards and reports within applications to deliver real-time data insights and support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Regularly engage with USCENTCOM stakeholders, interpreting business needs, gathering requirements, and translating them into functional app solutions that meet operational demands.
- Maintain and Enhance Existing Power Platform Solutions: Troubleshoot, update, and refine Power Platform applications as needed, ensuring they continue to meet evolving operational requirements.
Requirements
Application Development, Microsoft Power Apps, Teamwork, 1 + years of related experience, Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Developer Associate must have:
- Certification: Current DoW Directive 8140 compliant
- Experience: 1+ years of related experience in application development, particularly with Power Platform.
- Technical skills:
- Proficient in building and deploying Canvas and Model-Driven apps within Power Platform.
- Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of data integration in Power Platform applications.
- Knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM) within Power Platform.
- Desired skills:
- Demonstrated experience with the DoW's Data Strategy and integration within secure networks.
- Power Platform and Azure certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-400, Azure Fundamentals).
- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and secure application development within a DoD environment.
- Familiarity with USCENTCOM's mission and operational data management needs.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
