Job description
Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) is seeking a Junior Power Platform Developer to support Army programs at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). This role is ideal for an early-career professional or career switcher who is eager to grow their skills developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps within a structured, team-based environment., * Support the development and maintenance of Power Apps, primarily Canvas Apps, to meet customer and mission needs.
- Assist with building, testing, and refining Power Apps solutions under close supervision.
- Collaborate with senior Power Platform developers, business analysts, and architects to understand requirements and solution designs.
- Participate in user story refinement, testing, and iterative improvements.
- Support basic data connections using Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Excel, and Dataverse (as applicable).
- Assist with documentation and knowledge sharing for developed solutions.
- Learn and apply best practices for Power Platform development in a secure DoD environment.
Requirements
All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution., * Any hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps (academic projects, internships, personal projects, or professional experience).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a structured development environment.
- Ability to work effectively under close supervision, with expectations adjusted based on experience.
Clearance Required
- Active or Current DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to Power BI (not required).
- Introductory experience with Power Automate.
- Education or coursework related to information systems, computer science, business, or data.
- Experience working in or supporting DoD or federal environments.
- Interest in low-code/no-code development as a career path.
