Job description

In this role you will lead communication and deliverables for the Technology and Engineering unit by partnering with cross-functional teams to lead key strategic and critical initiatives including supporting the core operations and business cadence.

You will be accountable for the success, quality, security, reliability and delivery of products, product groups or complex projects in the whole product lifecycle as defined in the portfolio. You will ensure efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of processes used in multiple areas for the Technology and Engineering team. You will be responsible for building strong interaction across organizational boundaries.

You will support the creation of business cases where appropriate, analyze internal and customer requirements to translate external needs into internal objectives. Collaborate with others to develop a product vision and a product roadmap, targeting stakeholder needs. Ensure the Technology and Engineering products are in sync with internal and external expectations.

You will build relationships across organizational or functional boundaries and create programs and processes to solve them within the context of engineering. From a Project Management perspective, you will set up and moderate meetings, manage project timeline, track project status, and help keep stakeholders accountable.

You will manage the regular upgrades and maintenance of the existing products and internal tools. You will coordinate the timelines and track the execution via daily SCRUM team meetings and monthly release cadences.

Requirements

You are a self-starter, communicative, highly engaged individual that thrives on creating project structure and close engagement with stakeholder.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage through ambiguities while being innovative and collaborative
  • Technology skills and the willingness to learn new topics quickly
  • Experience with Jira, Mural, Microsoft suite
  • Experience SCRUM and Agile Methodologies
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Problem-solving, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically, delivering services to meet stakeholders' demands on a timely basis
  • Knowledge of SAP and the SAP solution portfolio would be a plus
  • Proven ability to lead successful projects and work cross-organizationally
  • Cultural awareness, intercultural competencies, and ability to influence without formal authority
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
  • Persistence, self-motivation and willingness to work under pressure
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • English (fluent)

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of experience with a successful track record of leading engineering projects and cross-functional program teams
  • Proven track record in end-to-end implementation initiatives
  • Experience with Agile and/or Scrum Methodologies
  • Experience in people management is a plus
