Job description
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Back-End Developer to design, develop, and maintain back-end services/APIs for a large, customer-facing enterprise application for an automotive client. . This role focuses on building and supporting REST and SOAP integrations using Java, JSP, Spring Boot, and related frameworks, while producing clean, well-documented code aligned with development standards. The developer will collaborate closely with technical leads, front-end developers, architects, product owners, and QA partners to deliver seamless functionality, perform unit and integration testing, and participate in code reviews. Responsibilities include managing deployments and configurations within AWS environments (Oracle Cloud a plus), maintaining relational databases, implementing data access layers using JPA and EclipseLink, optimizing performance, and ensuring security compliance. The ideal candidate brings 7-10 years of back-end development experience, strong problem-solving skills
Requirements
proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines, and a team-first mindset within an Agile/Scrum environment. The ideal candidate thrives in an Agile environment, actively participates in Scrum ceremonies, communicates effectively with onshore stakeholders/team members, and has strong collaboration skills. This role requires working onsite in Hitec City, Hyderabad., 8+ years of working experience as a Back-End Developer Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, and Spring (Spring Boot) frameworks. Expertise in Apache Tomcat and application server configurations. Expertise in SQL, relational databases, and ORM frameworks (JPA, EclipseLink). Experience with AWS and other cloud environments, with Oracle Cloud Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integration with back-end services. Proficiency with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
