Security Engineer

The Security Engineer will support the design, deployment, and automation of cloud security infrastructure, focusing on securing cloud environments and integrating security practices within DevOps workflows.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Contribute to internal GitHub repositories supporting security automation
• Build and customize Infrastructure-as-Code templates using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Deploy and configure security controls within cloud environments
• Implement security configurations across CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Develop automation scripts to support security operations and deployments
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevSecOps best practices

• Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps environments
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience deploying infrastructure and security configurations in AWS cloud environments
• Ability to automate deployments and security controls via code
• Python scripting experience (primary scripting language)
• Experience working with GitHub repositories and version control workflows, * Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementations in cloud environments
• Additional scripting experience with TypeScript or Golang
• Exposure to cloud security automation and CI/CD security integration
