Job description
We're looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the strategic and technical direction of our AI platform that will power the future of OneTrust's market leading platform. You'll set strategic and technical goals for the team, hire engineers, and help prioritize projects. You'll be involved technically too, developing new products, identifying requirements, and ensuring excellence in execution., * Set the strategic and technical vision. Define how our AI platform evolves to support the needs of applications delivering AI agents and other capabilities. Drive implementation of common AI capabilities used across the entire suite of solutions.
- Drive alignment between value and investment. Prioritize initiatives that unlock measurable outcomes - improving customer impact, scalability, reliability and efficiency.
- Lead through influence. Partner with Product, Architecture, and executive leadership to align priorities, resource allocation, and platform evolution.
- Unify the product ecosystem. Ensure consistency and connectivity across AI capabilities so that each product contributes to a cohesive experience.
- Develop Engineering leaders. Mentor senior Engineers and Engineering Managers to think strategically, connect their domains to business outcomes, and lead with autonomy.
- Drive adoption of the AI platform. Requirements
An experienced Engineering leader who has led end-to end-development activities while monitoring reliability and performance and guiding improvements when required. You will ensure compliance with security regulations while managing software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines., * Bachelor's degree or greater in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum of 15+ years of engineering experience with a strong track record of successful development and delivery of complex, enterprise-class software that results in material market impact
- Proven success in delivering AI-powered features, agents or other capabilities
- Experience building cloud services
- Proven critical thinking and advanced analytical skills and qualities
- Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a deep sense of ownership and drive
- System design and architecture experience
- Building out onboarding and mentoring programs to teach and train other engineers to incubate individual and team growth
Benefits & conditions
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits. Salary Range $194,100-$291,150 USD
