Data Architect

• Design and ImplementEnterpriseArchitecture:

• Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy using Microsoft Azure.

• Design data models, database schemas, and data warehouses to support business needs.

• Ensure data architecture aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements.

• Data Management:

• Oversee data integration, data migration, and data quality initiatives.

• Implement and manage data governance policies and procedures.

• Monitor and optimize data systems for performance and scalability.

• Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts.

• Assign tasks, set goals, and ensure project milestones are met.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

• Translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Present data architecture plans and progress to executive teams.

• Security and Compliance:

• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g.,PII,GDPR, HIPAA).

• Implement data privacy measures and access controls.

• Education:Bachelor's degreein ComputerScience, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

• MicrosoftCertified: Azure Data Engineer,Azure Solution Architect,etc

• Experience:

• Minimum of10years of experience incustom developed applications,data architecture and data management.

• At least5years of experience in a managerial role.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure data services (e.g.,Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps,Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics).

• Experience building Azure Functions and Logic Apps

• Experience with deploying solutions using automated Azure DevOps pipelines

• Experience with data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and big data technologies.

• Data Modeling (e.g. Enterprise Data Warehouses, Star Schemas, etc)

• Data Science

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
