Requirements
Technician needs to have previous experience doing home security installation or troubleshooting of the systems. The desired candidate will have previous experience with installing and servicing security monitoring systems in commercial settings.. Some of these responsibilities include CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, card readers, and wireless keypads. Desired candidate should have experience programming security systems such as Brivo, CCTV, IP Cameras, and Fire alarm systems.
This candidate must be comfortable driving there own vehicle as they will not be provided a service vehicle. This technician can expect at least 40 hours per week working Tuesday-Saturday.
This person needs to have a mechanical aptitude and an adaptive personality. Technician must maintain 98% and better with inventory. Inventory is collecting once a week from the office and the technician is responsible for the inventory for the entire week. Inventory checks are quarterly. This role is heavily decided on communication and presentation with the customer in their home. They are open to junior level techs with minimal low voltage as long as they can communicate well and present themselves well in front of the customer. This is doing work in the HOA communities. They are cookie cutter type jobs where its high repetitions of doing the same job over and over in a single neighborhood. They receive 6% commission on any upsells to customers.
Benefits & conditions
Training: This technician will train for 2-3 days on "ride alongs" with Current full time technicians. Technicians are paid no more than $17/hr while training.
