Job description
Help integrate and validate next-generation Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) systems - ensuring mission-critical radar technology performs flawlessly for global space domain awareness and national defense operations. A Day in the Life - What you'll do
- Support integration and testing of the DARC radar system, ensuring software and hardware components operate together effectively in operational environments.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports supporting system-level verification and validation.
- Perform software testing and troubleshooting for radar system software components and associated processing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to coordinate integration activities across multiple disciplines.
- Support early use operations and training for the DARC radar system at operational sites.
- Develop and implement test automation solutions to improve system verification efficiency.
- Document test requirements, procedures, methodologies, and results in the program's requirements management systems.
- Participate in test readiness reviews and system-level integration planning to ensure mission and program requirements are met.
- Support Integration and Test/Checkout (IATC) activities for hardware and software configuration items.
- Travel approximately 50% to CONUS and OCONUS locations to support system integration and testing activities.
Requirements
5+ Years Experience | Colorado Springs, CO | Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility, * Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with:
- 5+ years of experience OR
- 3+ years with a Master's degree OR
- 2+ years with a PhD
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application
- Experience with programming or analysis tools such as MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or similar languages
- Experience executing formal requirements verification test procedures
- Experience developing software requirement verification procedures
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
- Experience supporting software integration, troubleshooting, and system testing activities, * Experience with missile defense, space tracking, or satellite operations environments
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary Integration & Test teams
- Experience integrating large complex systems consisting of both hardware and software elements
- Experience supporting large ground data processing system integration
- Experience with radar signal processing algorithms or radar software integration
- Experience supporting Integration and Test/Checkout (IATC) of hardware and software configuration items
- Experience documenting integration plans, procedures, results, and deficiency reports
- Experience performing international system integration or test activities
- Knowledge of software integration and test methodologies
- Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) certification
