Systems Administrator

Manage and maintain Linux-based systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Oversee the deployment and configuration of tools such as Conda and Jupiter

Provide technical leadership in the administration and management of organizational systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research efforts and operational goals.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Implement best practices for system security and data protection.

Monitor system performance and perform regular updates to ensure smooth operation.

Utilize Active Directory to manage user access and permissions.

Support Windows Server environments and Windows 10 systems.

Work with Dell and Citrix technologies to enhance system functionality

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing Linux systems while supporting research initiatives and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in system management and demonstrate proficiency in a variety of technologies., Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, specializing in Linux systems.

Strong understanding of Active Directory and its applications.

Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10.

Hands-on experience with Dell Technologies and Citrix solutions.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Knowledge of system security protocols and best practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skill
