- Organize and lead the development of full lifecycle solutions from CONOPS to Validation while collaborating with the customer, subcontractors, and executive leadership.
- Guide the development of new technologies to support business capture.
- Identify technology gaps in existing systems and solutions.
- Own the preparation, cost, and schedule of Design Reviews as well as Development, Integration, Dry Run, and Formal Qualification Testing.
- Influence decision-makers with recommended courses of action across complex problems.
- Review and document major changes in systems or processes to solve complex problems.
Requirements
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of design professionals including Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Test, Logistics and other System Engineers.
- Experience in at least three of the following areas: Systems Engineering/Test Engineering/Software Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience across the Systems Engineering V with an emphasis on development, integration, and test.
- Experience working with Secure Voice and VTC Communication Systems.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. Must have the ability to obtain Top Secret.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
- Experience with voice communication systems, including VoIP (Voice over IP) protocols like SIP, RTP and SRTP.
- Familiarity with multicast networking (e.g., IGMP, PIM) for efficient data transmission in communication systems.
- Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, UDP, and network troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark).
- Basic understanding of firmware development (VHDL) and/or software development (C/C++, Python).
- Knowledge of military specifications (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461) for designing rugged and reliable systems.
- Proficiency in system design tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent).
- Experience leading discussions with customers and vendors/subcontractors.
- A current active Top-Secret Clearance.

- And more!, The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
