Job description
- Help define the integration and test environment (both manual and automated testing) for a hardware and software integrated system.
- Manage, develop, and execute automated test plan for a hardware and software integrated system to include system-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members (hardware and software engineers) to ensure system compatibility and performance.
- Decompose interface requirements and architecture to support integration and test activities.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product performance and features.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders to align on project milestones and deliverables.
Requirements

Experience with DoD systems engineering processes, Technical Reviews and Audits, and MIL-STD compliance.

Demonstrated ability to create verification plans, conduct test procedures, and manage requirement traceability matrices (e.g., in IBM DOORS, Cameo) to ensure system compliance.

Proven experience in designing, conducting, and documenting IV&V activities, including hardware-in-the-loop (HITL), software testing, and performance evaluation.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance., * Experience with voice communication systems, including VoIP (Voice over IP) protocols like SIP, RTP and SRTP.

Knowledge of configuration management practices to manage system changes, revisions, and baselines throughout the development lifecycle.

Ability to write comprehensive test reports, discrepancy reports (DRs), and system evaluation reports for customer review.

Hands-on experience with industry-standard integration and testing tools such as MATLAB, Python, Robot Framework, Selenium WebDriver, Ansible, DOORS, Cameo, or JIRA/Confluence.

Developing and executing requirements verification model in Cameo tool suite.

Experience developing and managing requirements and MBSE model development using UAF.

Knowledge of military specifications (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461) for designing rugged and reliable systems.

Proficiency in system design tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent)

- And more!, The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
