Job description

Our client, an established IT services and consulting firm, is hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join their team in Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, supporting mission-critical systems and integrations., * Develop and customise ServiceNow solutions across core ITSM modules.

  • Build, maintain and optimize business rules, client scripts, workflows and custom applications.
  • Manage and improve the ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Develop and integrate scripted web services and APIs, including SOAP and REST.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
  • Support system integrations, including CMDB and asset integrations.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is essential with eligibility for access to classified information.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of ServiceNow development experience, including ITSM, scripting, Glide and custom applications.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB administration and enhancements.
  • Strong experience implementing web services and integrations within ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency with SOAP and REST APIs.
  • Experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS3, XML and SQL.
  • Back-end development skills in JavaScript, Java, .NET, PHP or similar.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.
