Job description
Our client, an established IT services and consulting firm, is hiring a ServiceNow Developer to join their team in Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, supporting mission-critical systems and integrations., * Develop and customise ServiceNow solutions across core ITSM modules.
- Build, maintain and optimize business rules, client scripts, workflows and custom applications.
- Manage and improve the ServiceNow CMDB.
- Develop and integrate scripted web services and APIs, including SOAP and REST.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
- Support system integrations, including CMDB and asset integrations.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is essential with eligibility for access to classified information.
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of ServiceNow development experience, including ITSM, scripting, Glide and custom applications.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB administration and enhancements.
- Strong experience implementing web services and integrations within ServiceNow.
- Proficiency with SOAP and REST APIs.
- Experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS3, XML and SQL.
- Back-end development skills in JavaScript, Java, .NET, PHP or similar.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.

- Salary: Up to $200k DOE.
