Job description
- Provide technical support and administration for Microsoft SQL Server and Windows-based application servers
- Develop and maintain code, scripts, and stored procedures using C#, VBA/VBScript, and SQL
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues across workstation and server environments
- Translate business requirements into workflows, reports, and system capabilities
- Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and work instructions
- Lead and support application-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations
- Support ongoing application operations, including upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution
- Manage system changes in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to improve system functionality and performance
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of experience managing Microsoft SQL Server environments
- 2-4+ years of coding or scripting experience (C#, VBA/VBScript, or SQL preferred)
- 2-4+ years of experience supporting or maintaining an ERP system
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of an organization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epicor ERP (Kinetic preferred)
- Familiarity with production scheduling tools such as Job Pack
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros and VBA development
- Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems
Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
