Oracle Fusion Functional Financial Specialist

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) whose mission is to enhance the fiscal and financial stability, accountability and integrity of the Government of the District of Columbia is in search of an Oracle ERP Product Specialist (IT Specialist Product Specialist- Cloud).

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The Information Technology Specialist works closely with the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and other District government stakeholders in conducting work that involves the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translating requirements into applications
• Oracle functional experience with configuration, enhancement, testing with Procure to Pay (P2P) and/or Fixed Asset (A2R) Oracle Financial/Fusion modules
• Configuring, testing, and implementing modifications to Oracle ERP Cloud Modules such as Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Purchasing, Projects, Grants, Cash Management, and budget modules
• Troubleshooting and working with vendors to resolve issues with product functionality; working with security staff to document and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with District, OCIO, and IRS security controls.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

This position requires a mandatory three-day in-office work schedule, with on-site presence required on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays each week.

Do you have experience in Software testing?, Five (5) years of progressive experience performing duties and responsibilities such as gathering and analyzing business requirements and providing technical solutions; conducting configurations, testing, and troubleshooting financial systems or Oracle Financials modules (i.e., Accounts Payable, Receivables, Purchasing, General Ledger, Projects, Grants, Budget, etc.) and knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud and public sector particularly state and local government experience preferred., * Are you legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future? • Are you on any other type of visa that authorizes you to work in the U.S. (such as H-1B, H4, F-1, OPT, L-1, O-1, TN, or H-2B, EB-1 or any similar) (Yes or No)
• How many years of experience do you have with Oracle Cloud Financials or Oracle Cloud Fusion?
• How many years experience do you have with Procure to Pay (P2P)?
• How many years of experience do you have with Fixed Asset/ A2R?
• What other modules of Oracle have you worked with Projects, Grants, Budget or any other?
• This is a hybrid position that would require you to work least 3 days per week outside of Washington, DC office. Are you open to commuting or relocating for this role?
