Job description
A rapidly growing managed services provider and startup focused on supporting M&A-driven initiatives for Fortune 500 clients is seeking a highly skilled D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoys building scalable, high-impact solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing D365 F&O solutions, working closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to deliver customizations, integrations, and enhancements aligned with Microsoft best practices., * Design, develop, and customize D365 F&O solutions using X++ and related technologies

Build and implement extensions, integrations, and system enhancements

Develop SSRS reports, data entities, batch jobs, and workflows

Support data migration efforts, including building and validating data entities and scripts

Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with Microsoft best practices

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
-
Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and performance tuning initiatives
-
Develop and maintain technical documentation (design specs, code documentation, deployment guides)
-
Support deployments and post-go-live stabilization activities
Requirements
-
Must have worked in an MSP environment for at least 3+ Years
-
Proven experience as a D365 F&O (or AX) Developer, including full lifecycle implementations
-
Strong proficiency in X++ (extensions, classes, forms, tables)

Experience with D365 integrations (OData, Data Management Framework, REST APIs, custom services)

Solid knowledge of SSRS reporting, SQL Server, and Power BI integrations

Hands-on experience with data entities, batch processing, and workflows

Familiarity with Azure DevOps (version control, CI/CD pipelines, deployments)

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills

Deep understanding of D365 F&O architecture and development lifecycle

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred:

Microsoft Certification: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Developer Associate
-
Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
-
Exposure to ISV and third-party integrations
-
Knowledge of security roles, personalization, and system administration in D365
-
Background in finance, supply chain, or manufacturing environments
Additional Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)

Ability to travel up to 10% for client engagements

Fully remote (EST or CST preferred)
