Job description
The Lead Developer will serve as the senior engineering authority for backend and edge components of the AVEVA Hosted Foundation platform. This role drives architectural decisions, ensures code quality, and provides hands on technical leadership across distributed cloud and edge microservices. The Lead Developer ensures adherence to AVEVA secure development practices, API governance, system level performance expectations, and integration with third party platforms such as AVEVA PI System and AI/ML engines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud native backend development.
- C#/.NET Core microservices on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Deep Kubernetes, containerization, and cloudnative design
- Integration with AVEVA PI System / AF SDK / industrial data flows
- Golang familiarity for edge components; Angular familiarity for UI
- Secure coding practices & vulnerability remediation (Burp, OWASP)
- Technical leadership, code reviews, and architecture governance

This is a full-time job opportunity through Insight Global, working onsite for our Industrial Automation and Energy Management customer. You will need to commute onsite to Insight Global's Hyderabad Delivery center Monday - Thursday, with 1 day remote, working 1:30pm IST - 9:30pm IST (8am EST - 11am EST overlap).
Compensation: $17/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including geographic location, skills, experience, and education.
