Job description
- Ideate and create new analytics models and metrics using advanced techniques to help drive sales growth for clients based on their position in the marketplace and their target customers.
- Build and support the automation of ongoing deliverables for the suite of SS&C Distribution Intelligence products and services. This includes the building of validation checks on all output to ensure quality and consistency in client delivery.
- Run ad-hoc queries at various levels of aggregation across a variety of data sets to conduct research on client-specific questions and issues; communicate analysis results directly with clients via both calls and emails.
- Prepare analytical insights for use in client sales meetings via PowerPoint presentations, Excel documents, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams including data stewards, development teams, sales teams, and product managers to resolve data integrity issues, ideate new product offerings, run summary statistical analyses, and ensure smooth delivery to clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an analytics role and a bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or Engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on SQL experience, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of engagement and responsiveness during work hours.
- Experience with R, Python, or other programming languages, and familiarity with Amazon Redshift, DB2, or similar databases.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Amazon Quicksight and an understanding of quantitative, statistical, or data science modeling techniques.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate techniques and translate data into actionable insights to drive client value.
- Preferred: Operational experience with large language models (LLMs) and a proven track record of delivering analysis that supports customer segmentation, predictive analytics, campaign targeting, or customer insight reporting.

Other States Salary range for the position: 95,000 USD to 110,000 USD.
