Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE)

• Seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE) to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community.
• The ideal candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering practices to define system architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions.
• This role involves developing and maintaining system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, as well as utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize the performance of complex systems.

Education/Experience Required: Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo, or equivalent tools; Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. government-issued security clearance, * Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, including system modeling with Cameo, or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.
• Experience with high level programming languages (e.g. Python).
• Demonstrated engineering technical abilities and project management experience.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor).
• Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.

Desired Skill Sets:

• Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, C++, etc).
• Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment processes.
• Experience with customer NSIS requirements and rapid delivery methods.
• Evidence of strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working across contract and location boundaries
• Proficiency with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative engineering tools.
• Ability to convey complex technical issues clearly through both oral and written communication.

Years of Experience Required (if any):Minimum of 6+ (P3) or 8+ (P4) years of prior engineering experience. Education Level Required: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8+ years of prior engineering experience.
