Job description
Providing Subject Matter Expertise recommendations on testing requirements
- Performing system level software testing to accurately validate operational readiness
- Translating user requirements into tasks to execute as a member of the test team
- Performing document reviews for technical accuracy
- Identifying basic test and evaluation methodologies for new systems and system updates
- Generating T-E planning, execution and reporting documentation
Requirements
- Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Eight years of Navy Shipboard Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) system operations, or equivalent experience is required
- Shipboard systems may include, but are not limited to:
- Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Increment E/F
- Integrated Submarine Communications Receiving System (ISCRS)
- Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP) systems

Must be able to perform work within equipment spaces onboard US Navy platforms

Strong writing and speaking skills; experience leading and working in a diverse group of coworkers and community of interest

Ability to follow configuration documentation and procedures is required

Work independently but collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide consulting and control design recommendations to reduce risk

Travel may be required for this position
Desired Skills
- SSEE Increment F NEC C21A
- Completion of TST 102 Fundamentals of Test and Evaluation and TST 1100 Intro to Systems Engineering for Testers
- Demonstrated experience with best test practices, including formal, requirements-based testing
