The salary for this position traditionally starts at $93,002.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows:
- Lead the planning, execution and successful completion of large-scale, strategic and/or complex projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage large, high-visibility, high-impact enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal or external stakeholders or contracted resources. May be part of an overall program or portfolio of projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource allocations, budgets, and risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Define users' and project team members' roles and responsibilities on the project.
- Oversee and manage cross-functional teams, which may include (but not limited to) developers, engineers, analysts, and/or third-party vendors.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Lead change management efforts and ensure stakeholder buy-in
- Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders. Engage with executives and senior stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment.
- Mentor and provide coaching/guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and work experience.

Requirements
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a recognized project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent credential aligned with PMO best practices.
- Thorough knowledge of project cost management, benefits analysis, risk management, funding and estimation of resources.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying industry-standard project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, hybrid, and agile).
- Extensive knowledge of the information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft products: Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
- Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-organizational project teams by encouraging and influencing others to perform.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
A degree is not required. However, at least 7+ years of experience including project management experience in information technology, Computer science, Business Administration or a related field, applying the below, outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role. Individuals should have the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports: This role may serve as a team lead for an assigned work group.
