Job description

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Community Manager to lead the development and engagement of our vibrant community. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for residents, property owners, and vendors, fostering positive relationships and ensuring a welcoming environment. Your proactive approach will drive community satisfaction, support property operations, and uphold regulatory standards such as Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about property management, customer service, and community building to make a meaningful impact., * Serve as the main liaison between residents, property owners, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly.

  • Oversee leasing activities including property tours, upselling available units, and processing lease agreements using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
  • Manage tenant relations by addressing concerns related to property maintenance, lease terms, or legal matters such as landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management tasks to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment.
  • Maintain accurate data entry records for leasing, rent payments, legal documentation, and compliance reports using tools like LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) tracking systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Conduct conflict management and negotiation with tenants or vendors to resolve disputes amicably while adhering to legal standards.
  • Support administrative functions including filing, contract review, legal administrative tasks, and customer relationship management to streamline operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, Yardi property management software.
  • Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Office experience with data entry, filing systems, and administrative support functions.
  • Must have mobile Home experience
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
