Job description
As the Lead Instructor, you may also guide and support a small team of instructors - typically college students or fellow educators - who are working in your program. You are the main point of contact for your specific camp program, working in partnership with the on-site camp director at the host school. You'll help ensure the program runs smoothly each day, maintain clear communication with staff and support a safe, inclusive, and joyful camp experience.
Requirements
Looking for a summer role where you still get to teach - but without grading, lesson planning at night, or school-year pressure? Join us as a Summer Lead Instructor and spend your summer leading hands-on learning. Lead Instructors can choose the type of camp program they lead based on their preferred camper age group (Kindergarten through 8th grade) and their interests, with options ranging from LEGO and hands-on engineering for younger campers to STEM, creative arts, and computer science programs for older students., Prior experience with video game development or Roblox is helpful. However, we provide thorough training and ongoing support - we're looking for strong instructors who are comfortable leading a group, excited to learn, and ready to make learning fun in a hands-on setting.
Benefits & conditions
This is a full-time seasonal summer position based at local partner schools. Training includes a mix of virtual sessions and in-person training before camp begins, all designed to help you feel confident and prepared.
