CACI's Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a Junior Network Engineer in support of an Air Force Modernization program. In this role you will support infrastructure modernization of unclassified and classified base area networks to include site survey, design and installation activities across wired, wireless, broadband and ISP/OSP., * Support the creation of network architectures, topology diagrams, and data flow artifacts (Visio) for wired, wireless, and mobile broadband solutions, focusing on high availability and performance.
- Assist the Site Survey and Engineering team in the design of modernized network architecture
- Implement, and document secure network architectures, including STIG checklists, port/protocol/service documentation, and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) in compliance with DAF and DoD RMF standards
- Support the deployment of network management tools (SNMP, SYSLOG, orchestration) and coordinate with local Communication Squadrons
- Perform, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues. Provide Tier 2 support to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams
- Ensure that all installations meet industry safety standards and operational cleanliness, restoring sites to original or better condition
Requirements
Required:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related work experience (HS diploma/associate degree with 5+ years of DoD experience supporting large, complex networks may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree)
- Direct experience managing Air Force Base Area Networks
- DoD 8140 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC); or equivalent
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired:
- 1+ years of experience managing telecommunications and/or data center projects

The proposed salary range for this position is: $63,300-$129,700
