Job description
CACI's Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking Junior Network Technicians in support of an Air Force Modernization program. As a Network Technician on this program, you will support infrastructure modernization of unclassified and classified base area networks to include site survey, design and installation activities across wired, wireless, broadband and ISP/OSP., * Conduct thorough site surveys to assess current network infrastructure and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to design network solutions that meet Air Force requirements
- Assist in the installation of network equipment, including routers, switches, access points, and other hardware
- Configure network devices to ensure optimal performance and security
- Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure network reliability and functionality
- Maintain accurate documentation of network installation, configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps
- Ensure all activities comply with Approved designs, Air Force regulations and security protocols
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- High School diploma or associates degree with 3-7 years of experience performing as a Network Technician on DoD Networks
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and networking concepts
- Experience with ISP/OSP, wired and wireless network technologies
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to create drawings using Visio
- Excellent attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills
Desired:
- DoD 8140 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC); or equivalent

Since the position can be worked in more than one location, the rate shown is the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors. The actual rate will be based on contract, location and job classification.
Minimum Required Hourly Wage: $31.17
