Job description
- Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams, employ agile software development techniques and resources to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications
- Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test system
Requirements
Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, * Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 prior relevant experience.
- Experience in any of the following, software development, integration, test using C++, C#, Java or similar software language
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required, note only U.S. Citizen can obtain security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills
- Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools
- Experience working in Agile environment such as Scrum, Scrum @ Scale, SAFe, Test-Driven Development, DevSecOps
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
- Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems
- Experience with integrated development tools such as Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible
- Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development pipeline
- Knowledge of Red Hat and/or Linux Operating Systems
- Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
