Job description
- Collaborate with project teams to manage interdependencies, ensure alignment between all deployment-related activities, and monitor and control progress through the deployment plan.
- Create detailed reports on deployment planning progress and present findings to stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative environment by encouraging open communication among project team
- Identify potential risks in the deployment process and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop strategies to enhance deployment efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify cross dependencies across workstreams and plan deployment strategies
- Analyze current batch schedules and identify downtime for cutover window.
- Coordinate the execution of the End-to-End cutover plan and track progress
- Facilitate cutover check points, communicate cutover status at regular intervals to stakeholders
- Track and coordinate issue resolution, and Interface with project leadership for escalations and key decisions

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as project manager or delivery lead in complex engagements with a solid understanding of managing a migration to cloud, demonstrated ability for detailed planning, and solid understanding of risk management techniques.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working on mainframe optimization or mainframe modernization programs
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Deployment Countdown & large scale Cutover Execution
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience, * Proficiency in Data Migration , File migration and Pre cut over (Dry Runs) is desired.
