Job description

Vaco has partnered with one of our Fortune 500 clients to onboard an IT Audit Manager. Looking for deep hands-on IT audit capability, including controls design and testing, workpaper execution, technology and ERP-related audit work. Looking for leaders that are emotionally intelligent, collaborative, and adaptable to different personalities.

Company allows "work from anywhere" remote program up to 4 weeks of the year as well as unlimited PTO, product discounts and free onsite spa services onsite. This is a tenured team but with room to grow (lots of concurrent projects going on- great learning environment.)

$130K + bonus

Day-to-Day Lead IT SOX Compliance (Global Scope)

  • Own the annual IT SOX program across domestic and international operations
  • Review control design, process documentation, and testing performed by staff
  • Assess IT control deficiencies and partner with management on remediation plans
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline controls, including automation
  • Ensure cloud environments meet SOX compliance requirements
  • Evaluate new systems/implementations and define required SOX controls
  • Partner with external auditors to maximize reliance on Internal Audit's work

Drive IT Audit Execution

  • Plan and execute risk-based IT audits within budget and timelines
  • Review audit workpapers and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Present audit findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Manage, mentor, and develop audit staff
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Lead performance reviews (quarterly and annual)

Pay Transparency Notice

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of experience in IT audit, IT SOX, or IT compliance
  • Strong knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), ITGCs, and risk/control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT)
  • Experience working with external auditors (Big 4 experience is a plus)
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead audits and manage teams
