Job description
The systems engineer is responsible for integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices. Duties of a systems engineer typically include managing the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware, and web application, including specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Systems engineering is like putting together a puzzle, matching varied pieces together to make one cohesive whole. Systems engineers are concerned with the "big picture" of a project in addition to technical aspects and must consider details like cost, schedules, and social issues that may be associated with a project. Conduct site surveys of ships, airfields, facilities, power, infrastructure, and other C5ISR platforms. Create Functional Block Diagrams, Use-Case Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Source Control Diagrams, Interface Control Diagrams, and other systems engineering diagrams with Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, or other software., * Conduct site surveys of ships, airfields, facilities, power, infrastructure, and other C5ISR platforms.
- Create Functional Block Diagrams, Use-Case Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Source Control Diagrams, Interface Control Diagrams, and other systems engineering diagrams with Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, or other software.
- Create Requirements Traceability Matrixes in order.
- Develop Technical Data Packages (TDP) up to the Production Level. TDP development shall be executed in a structured environment with status tracking, quality checklists, seamless integration into Product Data Management, automated workflows, and in a digital format.
- Conduct development, design, and integration of electrical, mechanical, materials, and structural concepts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 3 years of professional naval systems engineering experience.
- Active Secret Clearance walking through the door. Preferred Top Secret eligibility.
Basic Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 yearly salary
The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. We do not use salary history to determine compensation, in line with applicable law.
