Job description
A local company is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join their IT team and take the lead in maintaining, securing, and optimizing our network infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies while collaborating closely with other IT professionals to keep systems running smoothly. Paying $29.00/hr!!!!
What You'll Do:
- Configure, maintain, and support local and wide area networks.
- Install, set up, and manage network hardware such as wireless access points, switches, routers, and other connected devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues by identifying root causes and applying effective solutions.
- Manage firewall configurations, security policies, and access controls to safeguard the network.
- Monitor network traffic and performance, responding quickly to potential issues or suspicious activity.
- Keep detailed documentation of network setups, configurations, and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on network health, performance, and security incidents.
- Track and manage network assets and equipment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and support teams to ensure seamless integration across all systems.
- Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve network performance.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting LAN/WAN environments.
- Proficiency with packet capture and network analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours when necessary.
- Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a consistent 40-hour work week., * LAN, WAN, or Wi-Fi Network support.: 2 years (Required)
