Job description
Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a Senior Program Analyst, with an emphasis on project management and program support, to support the Federal Aviation Administration.
Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide strategic planning, program and administrative support.
- Support the customer's overall business strategy, developing strategic plans and assessing tasks, programs, and project progress
- Incorporate project management principles and frameworks to assist FAA client in establishing and maintaining governance over program initiatives
- Working knowledge of core project management tools (e.g. RASCI matrices, Gantt charts)
- Ability to track project schedule in a project management software such as MS Project and identify risks and develop a risk register if necessary
- Act as a liaison which includes working with different stakeholders (i.e. knowing where and who within FAA to talk to) to gather and/or confirm information in support of deliverables/tasking by FAA customer
- Conduct research and policy analysis to inform operational and business decisions
- Prepare various status reports on a consistent basis for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and track information requests and progress
- Document, disseminate, and track meeting minutes, notes, and action items
- Coordinate, schedule, and arrange meetings
- Create business process/data flow diagrams
- May have to support or maintain internal client SharePoint site
- Prepare materials for program briefings and presentations as necessary
- Prepare and draft memos as necessary
- Prepare materials and/or technical documentation to industry and Congressional inquiries as necessary
- Must be able to accomplish most tasks independently, with general supervision
- May be required to travel and support logistics/event coordination, prepare meeting artifacts, and potentially facilitate the meetings
- Travel: up to 10-25% in a year possible
Requirements
Do you have experience in Quantitative analysis?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred)
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
- Must have 10+ years of experience performing strategic planning, qualitative and quantitative analyses, including, but not limited to: project planning and execution, life cycle acquisition management and planning, risk analysis and mitigation plan development
- Prior experience supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or have worked at the FAA
- Experience/familiarity with FAA Orders and/or Advisory Circulars (AC) is desirable
- Knowledge of the systems and processes that currently support Instrument Flight Procedures (IFP) design and development is desirable
- Advanced proficiency in the use of industry standard office software and applications (MS Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
Salary: $125,000-135,000 annually. Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications.
