Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in telecom, specifically in network engineering domains, to join our team supporting a leading telecom client. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of telecom networks, experience working with cross-functional teams, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products in an Agile environment., * Act as the Product Owner for telecom/network engineering-related applications and platforms.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including client teams, engineering, and business units, to define product vision and roadmap.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, especially related to telecom network systems (Network automation, provisioning, OSS/BSS etc.).
• Drive features related to Telecom Load Balancer fundamentals, ensuring high availability and optimized traffic management across carrier-grade environments.
• Prioritize and define user stories for Zero Trust Security (ZTS) architectures and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) integrations to enhance network access control and enterprise security posture.
• Act as a bridge between network engineering teams and software development teams.
• Create, manage & prioritize backlog items, user stories based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Ensure alignment with client expectations, track product performance and continuously improve based on feedback and data insights.

• 8+ years of overall experience, with minimum 3-5 years as a Product Owner or similar role.
• Strong domain knowledge in telecom network engineering (Device provisioning, OSS, Network Automation, etc.).
• Conceptual or hands-on familiarity with Telecom Load Balancing & Zero Trust Security (ZTS) frameworks.
• Understanding of Cisco ISE capabilities regarding network authentication and policy enforcement.
• Experience in writing user stories, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
• Ability to understand technical architecture and translate it into business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with network automation tools, APIs, and cloud-based telecom solutions.
• Certification such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent., * Current visa status? We are hiring for Citizen, Green Card (GC), H4 EAD candidates
