Job description

The Cloud Engineer designs and builds scalable data pipelines, develops reusable components, and supports the delivery of reporting and analytics data products. This role transforms raw data into optimized, accessible models and ensures data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform. The engineer also contributes to data architecture improvements, resolves complex data issues, and maintains end - to - end pipeline health., · Build new data pipelines and reusable components to support analytics and reporting solutions.

· Write complex SQL and code-based transformations to convert raw data into structured, consumable models.

· Clean, prepare, transform, and optimize large datasets for integration and downstream use.

· Implement data management initiatives and enhance existing data and web architecture.

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, including root cause analysis and long-term fixes.

· Own pipeline reliability and support system failures and operational incidents.

Requirements

· Active Secret Clearance

· 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud-native technologies.

· 2+ years building ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, Event Grid, and Azure Functions.

· 2+ years developing data engineering pipelines using Databricks or Apache Spark.

· 1+ year working with Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Redis, or Synapse.

· 1+ year experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Oozie.

· Strong programming skills in Python or Java.

· Strong SQL experience.

· Experience working in Agile environments.
