Cloud Engineer

• Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure/AWS environment.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters for containerized workloads.
• Administer and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Ensure systems meet DoD security and compliance standards.
• Monitor and optimize performance, capacity, uptime, and security across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Support incident, problem, change, and knowledge management processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and government stakeholders to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Participate in on-call rotations and change management duties.

• Active DoD Secret Clearance (required).
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Associate's degree with 7+ years in cloud or infrastructure engineering.
• Expert-level experience with Kubernetes (containerization), RHEL, Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps methodologies.
• Familiarity with DoD compliance frameworks (e.g., STIGs, RMF) is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite at Ft. Meade, MD three days per week.

• Salary range: $165,000 - $195,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
