Job description
A career as a Program Analyst at GDIT means taking ownership in supporting and advancing our customer's mission. At GDIT, the Program Analyst leads critical aspects of customer support, adapting and evolving approaches to tackle our clients' most significant challenges effectively.
This role provides ongoing analytics, coordination, and support for various project deliverables. The Program Analyst will assist the Program Manager by developing tools and dashboards to optimize program management practices. Additional responsibilities include conducting organizational analyses, streamlining work processes, and preparing operations and procedures to improve management efficiency.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Position will perform the following duties:
- Portfolio and Program Planning - Support strategic planning for program design, implementation, and evaluation for one or more programs.
- Resource Management - Oversee administrative aspects of portfolio personnel, including charging guidance, system access controls, tracking requisitions, recruitment efforts, subcontractor support, and material logistics.
- Financial Management - Provide resourcing inputs (human, material, and services related) to the financial team to support metrics like Estimate at Completion (EAC) and other financial assessments.
- Execution - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and enhance program efficiency.
- Technical support - Provide input, under technical team oversight, into program-related systems, databases, and software.
Other tasks include:
- Prepare and update routine deliverables for the customer.
- Support program transitions, including transitions into new phases or new contracts.
- Attend meetings and provide agendas, minutes, and action items as required.
- Conduct workload planning and provide task-specific recommendations.
- Liaise with vendors, agencies, and client staff as needed.
- Coordinate development of deliverables and products.
- Participate in special projects, as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Education: BA/BS or equivalent

Required Experience: 8+ years of experience

Preferred Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma, Agile Framework, CAPM, or similar.

Strong collaboration skills in a virtual team environment.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical procedures, documents, and regulations.

Intermediate (or higher) skills in MS Office products, specifically Excel and Word.

Database management or database input experience

Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication abilities (written and verbal).

Security Clearance Level: Interim Secret or ability to obtain prior to start

Salary and Benefit Information The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
