Job description
Support the design, development, and improvement of aluminum and sheet metal products. Work with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure designs are functional, manufacturable, and production-ready. Create and maintain CAD models and drawings, support new product development, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring time on the shop floor to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams., * Develop and improve aluminum and sheet metal product designs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure functionality and manufacturability of designs.
- Create and maintain detailed CAD models and drawings.
- Support new product development from concept through release.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor and work closely with fabrication and assembly teams.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for designing sheet metal and mechanical components.
- Experience in creating 3D models and 2D drawings.
- Application of GD&T and understanding of tolerance stack-ups.
- Ability to read and create detailed engineering drawings.
- Experience in supporting manufacturing or production environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-6 years of mechanical or design engineering experience.
- Experience in new product development, CNC, prototyping, and process improvement.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to design for manufacturability.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
