Job description
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise network solutions, including LAN, WAN, intranet, extranet, and data communications networks
- Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning to support Army installation modernization efforts
- Design and integrate network security measures aligned with DoD standards
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate network hardware and software solutions for optimal performance and reliability
- Serve as a technical lead on integrated project teams, supporting planning, scheduling, and execution activities
- Participate in contract activities and status meetings with government stakeholders
- Develop and deliver project documentation, plans, and technical reports to the Government
- Support the integration of information technologies to improve system effectiveness across the enterprise
- Maintain availability during core hours (0900-1500) and support on-site operations at Fort Belvoir, as required
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

10+ years of experience as a Lead Engineer or leading projects of similar scope and complexity

Meets DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification requirements

One or more of the following certifications:
-
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE)

Government-approved vendor equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- DevOps certification from Cisco, Microsoft, or another industry-recognized provider
- Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army or other federal agencies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior military leadership, program managers, and technical teams
Clearance & Travel
- Active TS/SCI at the time of application
- Travel up to 25%, as required
