Requirements

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available., * 10+ years experience

  • Experience managing Palo Alto and Checkpoint Firewalls
  • Experience in remediation of overly permissive rules
  • Experience with managing firewalls in an Azure environment
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Desire to support daily operations of firewall security policies
  • Support in incident response and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of splunk
  • Knowledgeable in conversation of layer 4 rules to layer 7 using userID and appID
  • Understanding of creating custom appID's
  • Has managed Palo Alto infrastructure (upgrades, patches, configurations)
  • Experienced in managing Checkpoint firewalls in an IaaS environment
  • Deployed Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
  • Ability to leverage python scripts to automate tasks
