Job description
This position may be located near any CGI office in the U.S. (or remote where permitted), but working hours must align with East Coast business hours, but preference is someone onsite in Westerville, OH working in a hybrid situation., Design, develop, and support customized and standard Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
. Build solutions using a combination of declarative and programmatic capabilities, including:
. Salesforce Flow (screen flows, record-triggered flows, orchestration where applicable)
. Apex (service layers, async processing, integration services)
. Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Lightning configuration
. Data modeling, sharing/security, and performance best practices
. Deliver guided, industry-style experiences using OmniStudio tools as applicable, including:
. OmniScript, FlexCard, Integration Procedure, and OmniStudio Data Mapper (formerly called DataRaptor - see terminology notes below)
. Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, business analysts, QA, and developers to define technical designs and deliver solutions across the full lifecycle (design ? build ? test ? deploy ? support).
. Contribute to technical leadership and standards for:
. Integration and application development patterns
. Code quality, peer reviews, and documentation
. Testing (unit and system), release readiness, and iterative refinement
. Build and support integrations using Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration approaches such as middleware and event/data patterns as required.
. Support data migration and ongoing data operations using tools such as MuleSoft and Salesforce Data Loader (and similar data tools as needed).
. Design and configure document generation solutions using S-Docs, Conga Composer, and/or DocuSign Gen for Salesforce.
. Work with integration between Salesforce and enterprise content management (ECM) platforms such as Perceptive Content (formerly ImageNow), OnBase, or SharePoint to support document lifecycle and records management.
. Troubleshoot complex issues across configuration, code, integrations, and data; implement scalable fixes and improvements.
. Identify opportunities to apply Salesforce capabilities to streamline processes, improve productivity, and enhance user experience.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience as a Salesforce Developer delivering customization, development, enhancement, and support for enterprise Salesforce implementations.
. Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and/or OmniStudio (Salesforce Industries) (preference for candidates with both).
. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and API-based integration patterns.
. Minimum 5 years experience development experience with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning (LWC).
. Hands-on experience designing/building Salesforce Flows.
. Experience with integrations and data movement using tools such as MuleSoft and Salesforce Data Loader (or comparable ETL/integration tooling).
. Demonstrable success with multiple enterprise Salesforce projects (Agile delivery preferred).
. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
. Experience implementing Salesforce solutions for public sector organizations.
. Experience with document generation tools (S-Docs, Conga Composer, DocuSign Gen for Salesforce, or equivalent).
. Familiarity integrating ECM solutions (Perceptive Content/ImageNow, OnBase, SharePoint, or similar) with Salesforce.
Desired qualifications (nice to have)
. Experience in one or more multi-org or complex Salesforce environments (multiple integrations, high data volume, strict security).
. Experience with Salesforce DevOps practices/tools (source control, CI/CD, release management).
. Strong understanding of modern cloud solution architectures (AWS and/or Azure).
. Salesforce certifications (examples: Platform Developer, relevant OmniStudio/Public Sector credentials)., * Oracle APEX (App Express)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 - $176,300.00.
