Cloud / Platform Architect

Peraton seeks a Cloud / Platform Architect to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support., In this role, you will design and oversee cloud and big data platform infrastructure supporting Caspian and JCRS-D environments., * Design cloud and platform architectures

• Oversee Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink deployments
• Define infrastructure standards and patterns
• Ensure platform scalability and reliability
• Guide platform technology decisions
• Support multi-classification environments

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
• Must have current AWS/Azure Solutions Architect certification
• Must have Hadoop certification
• Expert knowledge of big data platforms
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration
• Experience with DoD cloud environments
• U.S Citizenship required
• DoD TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• 12 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is preferred in Computer Science or a related field

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
