Job description

The Sr. Network Engineer III will serve as a subject matter expert for unified communications across voice, video, and collaboration platforms in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. The role will design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise UC solutions, including SBCs, gateways, and QoS for real-time traffic. The position will engage with stakeholders to communicate risks and solutions and will contribute immediately to operational support for a security-sensitive customer.   • Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise voice, video, and collaboration platforms.
  • Configure and support SBCs, voice gateways, dial plans, and QoS for high-quality real-time communications.
  • Serve as a technical SME and resolve operational issues with minimal ramp-up.
  • Participate in Agile execution and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Communicate technical issues, risks, and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Recommend technical improvements and architectural enhancements.
  • Contribute to team discussions, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support mission operations with urgency, accountability, and ownership.
  • Demonstrate immediate contribution in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
  • Establish and maintain customer trust through expertise and professionalism.
  • Apply creativity and innovation to deliver solutions aligned to mission objectives.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.
  • 10+ years leading or assisting in review, design, and implementation of network engineering solutions with deep hands-on experience in enterprise Unified Communications.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Hands-on experience with session border controllers, voice gateways, call routing, and QoS for real-time traffic.
  • Experience with VQ Conference Manager, Jabber, Cisco telephony endpoints, and Cisco Expressway.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational voice and video issues in mission-critical environments with minimal ramp-up.
  • Ability to contribute immediately in a mission-critical operational environment.
  • Essential personnel availability for continuity of operations during shutdowns, emergencies, or other critical situations., * Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • DoD 8140-aligned certification for the 441 Network Operations Specialist work role, such as Network+, Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, CASP+, CISSP, or CCNP Security.
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.

Salary: $230,000 - $290,000/ yr. w2
