Job description
· IT Strategy o Lead the end-to-end IT strategy development process up to the target state roadmap (3-5-year horizon) o Build and maintain the integrated IT roadmap across programs and platforms (sequence, dependencies, critical path, major milestones) o Orchestrate the strategy drumbeat - quarterly strategy review, monthly portfolio health review o Annual planning inputs (funding, capacity, vendor strategy) · Lead Strategic IT Initiatives o Lead delivery of high-impact technology initiatives spanning enterprise applications, digital workplace, and infrastructure backbone. o Translate executive priorities into clear delivery plans, roadmaps, and outcomes. o Partner with senior leaders across HR, Finance, Operations, and Technology to align goals, scope, and sequencing. o Help evaluate new ideas, technologies, and opportunities-bringing structure, clarity, and practical next steps. o Serve as a connective tissue between strategy, architecture, product, and delivery teams. · Drive Platform & System Delivery o Oversee enhancements, upgrades, and rollouts for core enterprise platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Microsoft 365, analytics and collaboration tools). o Balance speed, stability, and user experience when prioritizing work. o Ensure systems, integrations, and custom solutions work together effectively. o Use Agile or hybrid delivery approaches appropriate to the initiative. · IT Programs Governance, Value & Transparency o Develop methodology for tracking IT Strategy implementation programs, and outcomes o Track outcomes using clear KPIs such as adoption, time-to-value, and business impact. o Run steering discussions to surface risks early, resolve trade-offs, and keep leaders aligned. o Maintain transparent delivery tracking using tools such as Asana or Jira. · Leadership & Partnership o Build strong, trusted relationships with business leaders, technical teams, and partners. o Act as a calm, credible presence in complex or ambiguous situations. o Coach teams on modern delivery practices, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement. o Support executives with clear, concise perspectives on technology trade-offs and investment decisions., You'll Work Closely With · Sr. Director, OCIO · Chief Technology Officer · SVP of Data and IT · Product Owners and Line Leaders · Enterprise Architecture, Data, and Cybersecurity teams · AI Studio and Governance partners · Business unit leaders and executive sponsors · Vendors and strategic partners, Location: CHA Cambridge Hospital Work Days: Mon-Fri; 8:00-4:30, rotating weekends and holidays Category: Registered Nurse Department: Inpatient Case Management CH Job Type: Ful…

Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). · 8-12 years of experience leading or supporting technology and digital initiatives in complex organizations. · Experience spanning both strategy and delivery-not just managing tasks but shaping direction. · Strong background working across platforms, custom solutions, data, and emerging technologies. · Comfort operating with senior leaders and translating business needs into executable plans. · Working knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery models. · Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Oracle, Microsoft, AWS) and integration concepts. · Experience with analytics, automation, or AI-enabled solutions is a strong plus. · Excellent communication, synthesis, and stakeholder management skills. · PMP, Agile, Product, or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
