Job description
SNI Technology is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to support U.S. Air Force operations within a mission-critical environment. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure information systems while ensuring compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity frameworks.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing legacy USAF network infrastructure and supporting migration efforts into an AWS cloud environment. This position requires close collaboration with engineering teams, leadership, and mission stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity posture, respond to threats, and ensure operational readiness., Perform cybersecurity analysis, including data center system topology development and data flow mapping Support transition preparation and IL-5 migration efforts Execute vulnerability management activities: Conduct ACAS scans Analyze and prioritize findings Map remediation solutions and support patching efforts Evaluate DISA STIGs and complete STIG checklists with infrastructure teams Support RMF compliance activities and ATO package development Manage systems through the full ATO lifecycle within a DoD/Air Force environment Assist with security patching and vulnerability remediation Maintain and update program risk registers in collaboration with project management Coordinate schedules related to compliance and operational requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience
Certifications (one required):
Security+ CE Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification
Experience:
7-9 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, or network defense Hands-on experience with: Vulnerability assessments Penetration testing Incident response in mission-critical environments Direct experience supporting Air Force RMF processes Technical Expertise
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of DoD RMF and NIST SP 800-53 frameworks Familiarity with Air Force cybersecurity compliance processes Experience with tools such as eMASS, ACAS, VRAM, and DISA STIGs
Skills:
Strong vulnerability management and STIG checklist experience Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Abilities:
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and program teams Ability to design and implement secure, compliant systems in high-security environments
