Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation., As a Senior Consultant - Technical Architect, you will bring deep technical and insurance-domain expertise to define the end-to-end architecture for Guidewire solutions, acting as a key bridge between client stakeholders and Deloitte delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure configuration and integration designs. You will set technical strategy and standards, lead requirements-to-architecture decisions, design and validate solution prototypes, and guide build, testing, deployment, and support readiness-while driving technical problem-solving, communicating with impact, continuously developing your skills, and mentoring junior team members.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree

4 years consulting or relevant industry experience (Insurance - P&C, L&A / group, Commercial lines, Specialty)

4 years defining end-to-end architecture for Guidewire implementations, including scalable configuration and integration designs

4 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Solutions with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami or similar package
-
4 years of experience working in one of the following sub service areas: Insurance Products, Underwriting, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration or Distribution

Minimum 4 full life cycle implementations of Large-Scale System Delivery Experience preferably for Policy Administration, Billing Systems and/or Claims Systems

1 year experience estimating and planning Large Scale System Implementations

2 years of experience managing at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, and testing

Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Advanced degree in area of technical specialization

CPCU, AIC, ARM Certification

Guidewire Integration or Configuration certification

4 years experience with Guidewire Cloud Claims migration

Experience delivering via an Agile/Scrum methodology

A strong Java, Gosu (Guidewire), EJB, BPEL, UNIX background

Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools, Business rules integration

Experience with technologies like BEA, Sonic, IBM, Oracle, Apache ServiceMix, FuseESB, Camel, Mule etc.

Strong knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services, etc.)

Experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 - $198,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
