Job description
Program Managers within the Autopilot/AI Hardware team work side by side with cross-functional teams to support the development and scaling of both our AI silicon and vehicle hardware. Teams include design (electrical, mechanical & firmware), supply chain and manufacturing, to name a few. They will lead complex programs with limited up front guidance. The successful candidate for this position must have a broad background in engineering design and experience with program management. Must be a self-starter and able to figure out how to do things. What You'll Do
- Spearhead the next generation of AI hardware at both SOC and ECU levels, ensuring seamless integration into future vehicle products to drive innovation and performance
- Engage monthly with AI and HW executives to foster alignment and strategic guidance for AI hardware programs across vehicles, robots, and AI data centers
- Create program roadmaps and detailed timeline outlining milestones, critical paths, and deliverables
- Lead engineering, hardware, AI software, operations, and procurement teams to deliver AI programs on time and within budget
- Manage scope and schedule changes to minimize impact on overall objectives
- Manage and track engineering sample demand and supply, coordinating with the supply chain and others to meet engineering needs
- Maintain open communication with all stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are understood and managed
- Monitor program progress and provide regular updates on status, including key performance metrics, challenges, and escalations
- Track and manage potential risks with mitigation and contingency plans to minimize program impact
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
- 5+ years experience in product development, ideally with product shipping experience in medium-to-high volume industry
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when required
- Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail

Expected Compensation $96,800 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
