Job description
In this role, you'll be the trusted expert ensuring our people and systems run smoothly every day. You'll balance hands-on troubleshooting with proactive problem-solving-keeping our operations secure, connected, and efficient.
Core Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain workstations, applications, and devices to keep our teams performing at their best.
- Provide thoughtful, timely technical support (in person and remotely) with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain and manage IT inventory, ensuring all equipment and software are up to date.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal partners to resolve system issues and improve reliability.
- Document solutions and contribute to continuous improvement in IT processes.
- Participate in special IT and cross-functional projects that modernize how we work.
Cybersecurity Focus
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts, phishing attempts, and suspicious activity.
- Ensure endpoint protection and patching are consistent, effective, and compliant.
- Support user access controls, including MFA and password policies.
- Assist in vulnerability scanning, remediation, and compliance initiatives (HIPAA, SOC2).
- Promote cybersecurity awareness through training and best-practice guidance.
- Document and escalate security incidents in partnership with IT leadership.
Requirements

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a proactive mindset.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows environments, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills-professional, clear, and approachable.
- A commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and follow-through.
Cybersecurity Knowledge
- Working understanding of cybersecurity principles (risk mitigation, threat vectors, incident response).
- Experience with endpoint protection tools, IAM/MFA, and vulnerability management.
- Awareness of frameworks such as HIPAA or SOC2 preferred.
